Jason, the content librarian, has express my similar thoughts on the expansion or integration of library web or social network and resources.

To many libraries have copied or have tried to attempt to integrate the international system, into our local system, without recognising that our culture may not be ready for them or we may not be able to access or purchase the software, or someone may not be able to use the social network.

Some librarian needs to understand that if they are interested or ready to implement these systems, they must align their institute or library with another, in order for them to benefit.

It is like comparing yourself (public library) and trying to align yourself with a (special library,) the resources and systems is not relevant to you.

I am so loving the Jason The Content Librarian responses.
